Job Description Job Description Description: The purpose of this position is to successfully deliver and collect product without fail to/from our suppliers/customers ; complete shipments by processing and loading orders. To deliver finished goods on a flatbed truck throughout the Western States including remote mine site deliveries, and off road driving To collect materials from mine sites and other locations Warehouse/Production - assisting with production and packaging. Labeling buckets, wrapping and strapping pallets, running floor sweeper, and other duties Average of 1 night a week overnight while on the road Responsible for operating a truck mount forklift, as well as QHSE responsibilities Make sure product that is being delivered has the correct label, has a batch that it corresponds to the batch the Warehouse Supervisor selected, that the goods are clean and in good order. Deliver goods to our customers on time, making sure the documents are properly signed. Deliver the product correctly, quantity, packaging and type. Assist with loading and offloading the vehicles. Adhere to warehousing, delivery and any other standard as implemented by DOT. Make sure we collect the correct goods from our suppliers using a Purchase Order. Collect the goods in time for what they have been ordered. Make sure goods are not damaged, leaking or torn, only compliable product must be accepted. Job site cleanup after projects is completed. Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area. Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements, arranging for repairs. Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests. Must be willing to work overtime and on weekend when required to. Must be willing to sleep out during long delivery trips. Must work in the warehouse when there are no deliveries or collections. On the phone provided by the company- will have to complete safety observations along with DOT entries and evaluations. If required you must wear, use and maintain the provided personal protective equipment and report any unsafe practices or conditions which come to your attention. Utilize resources to establish, implement, maintain and improve the QHSE management system Ensure risk management activities are conducted within area of responsibility, including the identification, developed and implementation of any site-specific measures required to eliminate or reduce risk in their area Ensure site activities comply with workplace health & safety legislation and the Imdex QHSE management system Ensure employees are provided with the necessary PPE, instruction, information, training and supervision to enable work to be carried out safely Monitor and consult with employees and QHSE Representatives regarding any safety issues and performance In consultation with the QHSE Rep, develop and implement an injury management program for injured employees Utilize the Quality Alert system to initiate and respond to QHSE issues Requirements: Must have a valid CDL Class A Flatbed trucking experience preferred Forklift experience Excellent organizational and time management skills Good driving record Hard working Good communication skills
