This role is crucial in aiding our patients with chronic pain, utilizing both traditional and advanced techniques in a compassionate and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will assist in all facets of patient care, including setting up examination rooms, conducting basic procedures, and supporting pain management specialists. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment. Assist medical staff during patient examinations and procedures. Record patient history and personal information while ensuring confidentiality. Measure vital signs and administer medication as directed. Maintain records and schedule appointments. Educate and counsel patients under the direction of a healthcare provider. Handle administrative duties such as billing and coding, and insurance verification. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of medical terminology. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Ability to operate standard medical and office equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred. CPR/BLS Certification required.
