Qualifications As the Nurse Manager of the ICU you will be
responsible for planning, administering, and evaluating the
operations of the ICU. You will be accountable for the standards
and scope of nursing practice. You will collaborate with physicians
to expedite information and manage throughput on cases ranging from
minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. Our team
works together and supports each and cares like family. We are
looking for someone who has a passion for providing quality patient
care and has the ability to lead, coach and mentor our skilled ICU
staff. In this Manager role: - You will have the ability to create
and maintain an environment that results in above average
satisfaction ratings from employees, patients and physicians. - You
will have the ability to delegate work responsibilities based on
team member strengths, developmental needs, and workload - You will
have the ability to identify strengths and weaknesses of staff
performance and implements training and development accordingly -
You will work with the Director on department staffing; hiring,
evaluating, guiding, disciplining, and scheduling of staff - You
will have the ability to retain and recruit sufficient and
qualified staff for effective operations - You will manage
compliance with budget and financial metrics Qualifications: -
Current RN license in the State of Utah or RN Compact License from
participating states. - American Red Cross or American Heart
Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and
Certification. - American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification -
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN (or
track to completion) required - Minimum 2 years in a nursing
supervisory position with minimum - 3 years clinical experience in
a stepdown cardiac, or critical care setting - CV experience
