Job Description Job Description Senior Civil Engineer (PE) Nexeo HR is hiring a Senior Civil Engineer (PE) to join a well established civil engineering and surveying firm serving Northern Utah. This is a senior level opportunity for a licensed PE who wants to work in private consulting, take ownership of projects, and be part of a tight knit engineering team for the long term. This role is ideal for someone with strong civil site development and municipal infrastructure experience who enjoys hands on design, client interaction, and mentoring junior engineers. Responsibilities • Lead and manage civil site development projects from design through completion • Perform and oversee design for grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and parking lots • Prepare, review, and approve plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D • Stamp and seal drawings as the Professional Engineer of Record • Coordinate directly with municipalities, review agencies, and clients • Provide construction support and respond to RFIs as needed • Mentor junior engineers and support team development • Contribute to proposals and long term client relationships (as interest allows) Qualifications • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Utah • 5 years of civil engineering experience (10 preferred) • Strong background in civil site development and municipal projects • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D • Experience working in a consulting environment • Comfortable managing projects, clients, and multiple priorities • Interest in building a long term career with a private engineering firm • Ability to pass ongoing drug screenings (federal project requirement) Pay $90,000-$135,000 per year Schedule Full time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift Flexible between 6:00am–6:00pm (in office by 8:00am preferred) Benefits & Perks •401(k) retirement plan •Long-term career growth in a stable, established firm •Flexible schedule •Opportunity to work on municipal, commercial, residential, and industrial projects Questions?
