In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate
business unit beginning on January 1, 2024 with ongoing support
from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business
strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone
company at some time in the future with an anticipated target of
Jan 1, 2025.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join
our HR team to lead HRIS and HR Global Services. In this role, you
will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality HR
services to our global workforce, as well as managing the design,
development, and operational support of our HR information systems.
You will lead a team of HR professionals who provide a range of
employee services, such as payroll, benefits, onboarding, help
desk, and performance management. You will also collaborate with HR
stakeholders to ensure our HR systems meet the business needs and
enable data-driven decision-making. You will drive operational
excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation in both HR
service delivery and HRIS.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manages and leads the Global Services team to ensure a superior
employee services cycle with a breadth of global services that
includes Benefits, Retirement, Workforce Mobility, Employee Support
and Executive Services through HR contact centers and advanced
self-service tools
Lead the development, implementation and operational support for
information systems that support HR processes, such as talent
acquisition, payroll, legal, help desk, onboarding, performance
management, and employee engagement.
Provide recommendations to build and maintain contact center
technology and self-service solutions, such as an HR Intelligent
Virtual Assistant (Chatbot) via an existing conversational AI
platform.
Supervise the implementation of consistent, compliant, and
efficient HR operations management policies and practices.
Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
that are aimed at improving the employee experience via automation
or process improvements.
Ensure all organizational KPIs are met, such as flawless support
without excursions, resolving tickets within a business day,
customer satisfaction (CSAT) and BPM compliance.
Drive results by inspiring people, role modeling Altera values,
developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive
work environment.
Closely collaborate with HR stakeholders to ensure business
requirements are clearly defined and design scalable and effective
IT solutions to meet HR functional needs.
Architect and integrate systems that enhance data management,
analytics, and reporting capabilities for HR decision-making.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and trends in HR
information systems (HRIS) to ensure solutions remain innovative
and aligned with industry best practices.
Lead the HR operational support and oversight of HR systems.
Manage, coach, and develop members of the HRIS team. Set
prioritized goals and metrics to measure the growth and performance
of the team.
Direct HR technical service providers, as well as external HR/IT
consultants, as needed.
Manage cross-functional teams closely, including IT, HR, and
business leaders, to ensure successful delivery of HRIS solutions
and seamless integration with existing systems.
Workday Expert: Demonstrate profound knowledge and hands-on
experience with Workday, including implementation of new Workday
instances, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of
Workday functionalities.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in
addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus
factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Technology, Computer Science,
Business or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years of experience in management, with at least 5
years in a senior leadership role in HR service delivery and
HRIS
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in HR, Information Technology, Computer Science,
Business
Innovative and creative mindset, with the ability to identify and
implement new technologies and trends that enhance HR processes and
solutions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills,
with the ability to build trust and influence across all levels of
the organization and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and
stakeholders including executive leadership.
Proven track record of implementing innovative technology
solutions, with a focus on cloud-based HR information systems,
contact center technology, self-service tools, and artificial
intelligence platforms, that drive business value and improve the
employee experience.
In-depth knowledge of HR operations management policies and
practices, including benefits, retirement, workforce mobility,
employee support, and executive services, and the ability to ensure
consistent compliance and efficiency across global regions.
Proficiency in system design, integration, and implementation, with
a strong understanding of data security and privacy standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to
detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented, with the
ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience in leading operational excellence and continuous
improvement initiatives.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US,
Colorado, New York, Washington, California:
$141,673.00-$241,005.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location
and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would
require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on
business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work
model which allows employees to split their time between working
on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain
circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business
needs.
